Thank you for taking the time to explore my website, I know there are a lot of practitioners to choose from & this is a great thing, as the demand for holistic well-being & release from suffering grows.

Many people are experiencing discontentment with themselves, their relationships, employment or lack of it, or life in general. Often people’s mood changes literally with the weather & too many live on autopilot doing the same things, repeating the same patterns of thoughts & behaviours over & over again. This “trapped on a hamster wheel” life feeds the feelings of overwhelm, panic, mistrust and anxiety. Our brains don’t like to feel out of control or uncertain about the future & anxiety, low mood & addictive behaviours have become “normal” ways to deal with the world. Yet this is all so far from what we used to call normal & it is certainly a million miles from ideal or necessary.
It’s common for people to struggle with the challenges life brings often due to unrealistic expectations of themselves or society at large. People have become afraid of change, wanting to hold on tightly to what is comfortable & familiar- even when it brings them pain. The reality is that life changes constantly, learning to accept those changes frees us from the continual feeling of being disappointed with life & teaches us to value each moment, each day & be grateful for what we have rather than grieving for what we see as lacking in our lives.
If this sounds familiar, be reassured that life isn’t meant to be that hard!
We are all much happier and more at peace when we go with the flow of life rather than fighting against it. When you understand how your mind, heart and body are all connected you can learn to take care of yourself fully & you will feel whole and complete, just as you are.
My recommendation is that you also receive good GP, Dental and other appropriate types of healthcare as needed. We are complex spiritual beings living a human life and we need lots of tools in the kit!

A little about me…
Born in Wellington/Te Whanganui-a-Tara, I’ve lived most of my life in Auckland/Tāmaki Makaurau. I’ve had a varied career in what has felt like doing a jigsaw without the picture. Each role has felt like I’ve been finding yet another piece of the life puzzle & being dazzled by the brilliance of the picture that continues to emerge.
I one role,I had the pleasure of training with a Psychologist who taught me the benefits of mindfulness through Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy.
Mindfulness is an effective way to help us deal with all life challenges and situations, including those involving change, loss and grief.
All the qualifications I have obtained and my life experience has brought me to a place of understanding that I am responsible for my own health and well-being. My thoughts and feelings affect my body and in turn this influences how I function and live my life day to day.
Looking after my body, eating well, exercising daily & ensuring I get a good sleep each night, has made a huge difference to how I feel and is the basic foundation for deeper learning of how to engage with my experiences of the world.
For me, it’s also a spiritual journey that teaches me about connecting to my true self & understanding the bigger picture of how my life is part of the beautiful tapestry we call human life- just as yours is too.


I relocated to The Bluff/ Motupōhue in 2023 so that I could live a more authentic, peaceful and joyous life.
I am blessed to be fit and healthy & after raising 5 children, I have a well-developed sense of humour!
